New look at By-laws!
Posted on May 24th, 2016
We have been working on giving our By-laws a new look. Instead of the 40 some year old scanned document nobody wants to read. We have upgraded the document to more current standards.
The following are the Keatington Homeowners’ Association By- Laws complete with all additional amendments that were able to be discovered by research through the Homeowners’ Association Annual Meeting Minutes.
If you are a past Board Member or an interested homeowner, please review these By Laws.  If any part is incorrect or incomplete in your view, contact Sue Donovan at 248-393-1297 or  NO LATER THAN JUNE 15.  Reference the exact section of the By Laws in question with any written documentation that indicates a difference in wording.  After we can confirm to our best ability that these are in fact a complete and accurate rendering of the By Laws as they presently stand, we can consider changes to update the By Laws.
If you wish to take part in the review process, also contact Sue Donovan.

Legal Fireworks can be purchased at almost anytime now in Michigan. There are regulations as to when the can be discharged. Take a look at the attached  to be aware of the laws. It's easier to obey the laws, when you know what they are. Or, you may be suprised with a hefty fine!

Boats Not Allowed in Swim Area
Posted on Jul 15th, 2013
We have had several reports of boats motoring into the swim area to pick up "friends" from the swim platform. This is against the law and a very dangerous situation. Parents, if your children or young adults are allowed to drive your boats, PLEASE remind them to stay out of the swim area. We will be monitoring the situation and reporting violators to proper the authorities. Two children lost there lives in a boating accident last week on Sylvan Lake. We don't want any accidents at the KHA beach.
