Much of Voorheis Lake will be chemically treated on June 2, 2020 (weather permitting) for the control of aquatic nuisance weeds and algae under EGLE Permit No. ANC 9805492.

Restrictions on water use are as follows:

Do not use water for swimming or bathing until 6/3/2020

Do not use water for ornamentals or turf irrigation until 6/5/2020

Do not use this water for domestic purposes or agriculture irrigation until 6/7/2020
